Dear Shepard Family,
It is so painful to let go of someone that you love as dearly as you have Reba. She lived a good long life and touched so many lives over the years. What a legacy of love she has left you. As you cherish your precious memories of her please reflect on the words of Jesus at John 5:28,29. In this passage we are assured of the resurrection. At that wonderful time our tears of grief will be transformed into tears of joy. This promise was made possible by our loving Heavenly Father Jehovah through the sacrifice of his dear son Jesus Christ (John 3:16). May this sure hope bring you a measure of comfort at this difficult time.

We are saddened to hear of Reba's passing. She was always such a dear and kind lady. There was always a smile on her face and a cute twinkle in her eye when she joked. What a wonderful mother and grandmother and great grandmother she was and what a beautiful legacy she has left in the compassionate and caring family she created. Her sweet and loving ways will be carried on by her loving family. We will miss our visits and chats with her but we are so very thankful that we had her in our lives and were able to know such a beautiful person. Thank you God for giving us Reba and now we are happy she is with you and still smiling.

Seeing Reba's sweet smile this morning brought her back to mind. We shared days together at Valley View last year. Our conversations and her positivity made some rough days better. I hope your very best memories sustain you in the days ahead. Sincerely, Judy Miller

Our hearts and prayers are with you as you grieve during this time. Aunt Reba was a dear woman who meant so much to us; we mourn with you and will miss her dearly. We remember her faithful visits to mom and their games of scrabble that they both loved. Job's words bring comfort in knowing that "The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord."
