To the Roberts family, so sorry to hear of your loss. May you find comfort in knowing that the bible likens death to a deep sleep (John 11:11) and promises that Jesus Christ will awaken all those that have fallen asleep in death (John 5:28, 29). Yes, we have the wonderful hope of seeing our loved ones again but it will be at a time when God "will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." (Revelation 21:3, 4) Until then, continue to look to Jehovah God and his word the Bible for comfort in your times of grief and sorrow (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4). Dear Kevin, Mark and Eric, We have such good memories of your Dad in the 30 (+) years that we were neighbors. Your Dad was quick to offer help whenever needed and he was easy to work for. We had many good times with your family!

Wishing I could have been at the services for your dad. Will remember him as a man who was willing to help neighbors. Appreciated your dad (and mom). Many good memories of the neighborhood from my childhood. Praying for peace and strength for your families.

Dear Kevin, Mark and Eric and family members:

My sincere condolences upon learning of the passing of your Dad. It was he who told me of your Mom's passing during my visit to the Grange booth and the Troy Fair. Now they are together in a better place. I can still remember your Mom sitting at her manual typewriter in her living room at the farm saying, "I am going to write a letter to my (legislator)." When I told her about whatever was ailing me she always knew the cause and got it right. They were two special people who will be greatly missed.

"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."
