Alice grew up in West LeRoy where her parents operated the family country store. She attended the LeRoy Schoolhouse until sixth grade and later graduated from Canton Area High School. She was a member of the first class to graduate from the Canton High School auditorium. During her school years she participated in 4-H and played tenor saxophone in the marching band.

After growing up in West LeRoy and Canton, Alice lived near Andrews Air Force Base in Washington, D.C. She also lived in Cortland NY for a short time where she worked at Brockway. She later moved to Savannah, Georgia and lived near Hunters Air Force Base. While in Savannah she worked at a dry cleaner’s, bowled in a league, and spent time with her favorite horse, Frosty. She eventually lived in Canton, Pennsylvania and raised her three daughters, Linda, Carol and Brenda.

In her thirties, Alice attended Elmira College and earned her associate degree. She served as Center Director of Bradford County Daycare in Canton until her retirement. She was a member of the Canton Fire Department and attended both the Canton Methodist Church and the Canton Presbyterian Church.

Upon retirement she became a snowbird and spent winters in Ruskin, Florida. During this time, she lived near the water, and her favorite pastime was going out on the boat and fishing. She enjoyed making new friends and attending various social events. She also enjoyed traveling and going on cruises.

Alice enjoyed bowling, fishing, bingo, ceramics, and hunting on family land. She also looked forward to visiting her aunt and uncle, Betty and Emory Davis, at their home in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. Alice really loved camping and attending the annual Morgan Reunion at Ives Run. She cherished the time she spent engaging in various activities and bonding with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her mother, Wilma Davis Morgan; her father, Dean Eldon Morgan; her husbands, Gerald (Jerry) May and Troy Rogers; her brother and sister-in-law, Herbert Morgan and Sherry Chamberlain Morgan; her grandson, Chad Castle; and her favorite dog, Romeo, whose ashes will be buried with her.
