Obituary

Alice (Rinebold) McNett, 94, long-time resident of Roaring Branch, PA, passed away peacefully Monday evening, September 16, 2024, at the Roseview Nursing Facility with family by her side. Alice was born in Canton, on August 11, 1930, a daughter of the late Lester and Minnie (Bolt) Rinebold.

Alice worked for Canton's former Swayze Folding Box Company from 1966 until its closure in 1991.  She was a talented cook and waitressed and served as a cook for several local restaurants until her retirement. Alice possessed an unshakeable faith in the Lord and was a lifetime member of the Newelltown United Methodist Church.

She loved to play bingo and throughout life, Alice lived for the love she shared with her family.

Alice leaves behind children, Francis L. (and Beverly) McNett, Carol (and Gene) Mott-Kelly, Dennis (and June) McNett and Karen McNett all of Roaring Branch, grandchildren, Michele and Richard McNett, Becky Williams, Melissa Lohss, Alicia Mott-Comitto, Jason F. Jackson, great grandchildren, Brittnay, Brian, Brady, Tyler, Kaley, Adam, Emma, Vincent, Kurtis, Levi and Owen, great great grandchildren, Weston, Bennet and Bowen, a brother, Martin Rinebold of Sayre, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents and husband, Francis, Alice was predeceased by a great grandson, Brandon R. McNett, son-in-law, Frank Mott, Jr and siblings, Levi, Billy Carl, Winona and Maryella.

In keeping with Mrs. McNett's expressed wishes, services and burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Alice R. McNett's loving name may be directed to her beloved Newelltown United Methodist Church, c/o P.O. Box 66, Ralston, PA 17763 or to the McNett Cemetery c/o 376 English Hill Rd, Roaring Branch, PA 17765
