Anthony "Butch" Fromille, Jr., 82, of Canton, PA passed away Friday, June 14, 2024, at the Leigh High Valley Medical Center in Allentown, PA. Anthony Henry Fromille Jr. was born March 3, 1942, in Philadelphia, a son of the late Anthony Sr. and Alberta (Eiswerth) Fromille.
In earlier years, Butch work in construction. He later owned and operated Butch's Sub shop on Troy Street in Canton for several years. He was a former member of the Morris Run American Legion and South Williamsport Moose Lodge. Butch was quite man with a quick witty sense of humor, he was somewhat of a storyteller especially when it came to lake monsters. He enjoyed shooting darts, cutting wood and teaching his grandchildren about trees and the different species.
Butch leaves behind his wife of 23 years; Elizabeth (Morgan) Fromille at home, children, Robin Fromille (Troy DeHann) of Michigan, Shawn Fromille (Robin Hammer) and Shawna (Andy) Pepper all of Canton, Cory (Theresa) Fromille of Ohio, grandchildren, Maddison, Dylan, Cheyenne, Haylee, Leland, Emilia Elsie, Lyla and Aurora, great grandchildren Josiah, Ellory, Emmett, Everly and Ally, siblings, Diane (Rudy) Passeri, Dolores Fromille (Don Stranger) and Barbie Fromille, special friends, Sam and Arline Purcell, Steve Chapman, Glenda Fuller, several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and Canton Lake neighbors.
Besides his parents, Butch was predeceased by a brother, Geno a grandson, Evan and a great granddaughter, Leighton.
Friends may call 11 a.m. to 12:30p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2024, at the Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton with a funeral service to honor Butch's life following at 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the East Canton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a charity of one's choice.
