Arla J. (Miller) Moyer, 83, of Canton, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025, at the Sayre Health Care Center in Sayre, PA. Arla Jean was born March 11, 1941, in Williamsport, Pa, a daughter of the late Lee A. Miller and Miriam V. (Probst) Miller. She was a graduate of Williamsport High School. On February 2, 1983, Arla married Kenneth Moyer Sr. in the Canton Church of Christ. Together they shared 30 years of marriage until Kenny's death on June 11, 2013. Arla was a member of the Canton Fire Company Auxiliary for several years and she attended the Towanda Creek Mennonite Church.

Arla enjoyed sewing and was a very crafty individual. She had a passion for photography. Arla loved her pets, especially her cats.

Arla leaves behind her sister; Shirley Werner of Selinsgrove, stepchildren; Cathy (Bill) Davy of Roaring Branch, Alan Moyer of Canton, Tammy Reichard of Elmira, Scott (Cheryl) Moyer of Canton, LaRue (Sandra) Moyer of Belton, TX, several step grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as five nieces and two nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, Arla was predeceased by stepchildren; Bonita (Rick) Brock and Candy Brown, step grandchildren; Dennis Moyer and Ricky Brock, and her brothers; Dale, Clair and Norman Miller.

A time of visitation will be held from 10 – 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Pepper Funeral Home, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton. Services will follow. Burial will be private in Grover Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Arla's name may be directed to the Mennonite Church, 448 Ward Hill, Canton PA 17724.
