Arthur M. Jennings, 82, of Granville Township, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. Arthur Mark was born June 15, 1941, in Summit, New Jersey, a son to the late Arthur "Red" and Helen (Wortman) Jennings. Mark, as known by most, attended Bernardsville High School in Bernardsville, New Jersey and was a graduate of the class of 1960. He then went on to Zarephath Christian College in Zarephath, New Jersey. He studied the bible, trained for being a missionary, learned carpentry and was also a talk show host on the college radio station WAWZ. On October 12, 1963, he married the former Mae Rose Fulford. Together they shared 50 years of marriage and raised two children prior to Mae's passing in 2014.
Throughout Mark's life he held several jobs. He worked for the Somerset Bridge Department and the Morris County Park Commission. Reeve and Elizabeth's Schley's Island Farm in Whitehouse, NJ, where he was a carpenter for their horse stables and other farm buildings as well as Laurence Ross' estates as a carpenter and handy man.
Mark grew up at the Glenelg Farm in Peapack, New Jersey. His father, Red, was the manager of their thoroughbred racehorses at their stable. Mark would help care and exercise the horses at the farm. He also helped with the horses at the Essex Hunting Club, where the horses were used for fox hunting. In 2002, Mark bought a retired Trotter from the Amish that he lovingly cared for on his farm in Granville.

Besides his parents and wife, Mark was predeceased by a son, Bret Jennings.
In keeping with the family's wishes services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mark's name may be directed to your local American Heart Association.
