Obituary

Barry A. Bradley, 87, of Gillett, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, May 31, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Barry Alan was born on November 2, 1938, in Elmira, NY, the son of the late E. Donald and Thelma (Niles) Bradley. He attended Southside High School and graduated with the Class of 1956. On February 27, 1960, Barry married the former Patricia J. Aumick in Elmira, NY. They shared 58 years of marriage before her passing in 2018 and together raised four children.

In his early years, Barry worked alongside his father at Bradley Farms in Elmira, later became a masonry worker while proudly serving in the United States Navy from 1957 to 1959, drove school bus, and spent many years as a dedicated dairy farmer. Barry was a longtime and faithful member of Victory Church in Troy.

Barry loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman, spent many hours cutting firewood, tended his garden with care, and was proud of the maple syrup he produced each season. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and never missed a good race. Above all, Barry was a family man. Time spent with his loved ones visiting or simply sharing a day together was always what mattered most to him.

Barry leaves behind his children; Kelly (John) Mann, Mike (Becky) Bradley, Brian Bradley and Trevor (Sage) Bradley, 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Besides his parents, and wife, Patricia, Barry was predeceased by his stepmother Elva and stepfather Ray.

A gathering of friends and family to celebrate Barry’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Victory Church, 643 E. Main Street, Troy, PA 16947. A private family burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton is assisting the family with arrangements.
