Obituary

Beatrice T. "Bea" (Terascavage) Chamberlain, 80, of Troy, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, while surrounded by her loving family. Beatrice was born December 19, 1943, in DuPont, Pa, a daughter of the late John and Helen (Tetlak) Terascavage. She attended Wyalusing Area Schools and was a graduate of the class of 1961. On August 6, 1966, Bea married her soulmate James Chamberlain at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Wyalusing. Together they shared 57 years of loving and devoted marriage and raised 2 children. Bea was employed as a secretary by Henry Dunn Insurance in Towanda for over 20 years and finished her career at GTP Sylvania until her retirement.  Bea was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Towanda.

Bea enjoyed flowerbeds, crafts, puzzles, and ceramics. She never passed up a chance of going to a yard sale. Sitting around a campfire and going for rides in the country were some of her favorite past times.  In her younger years Bea and James loved to go camping. Any time spent with her family was truly treasured, especially with her grandchildren. She followed their academics and athletics and was always their number one fan.

Surviving Bea are her husband, James, at home, children; Brian (Jen) Chamberlain of Gillett and Sherralee (Daniel) Lunger of Nottingham, PA, grandchildren; Casey, Katie, Taylore (Adam), Emily, Courtney and Sarah, a great grandchild; Colton, sisters; Josephine Solowiej and Theresa (Terry) Fulda, sisters-in-law;  Sherry Morgan, Sandy Chamberlain and Judy Terascavage, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends and her grandpups.
