Betty M. "Betsy" Reibson, 77, went home to her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 16, 2021 while surrounded by her family in her home. Betty Marie was born on May 25, 1943 to the late Harold Warren and Ruth Irene (Day) Fiester. She grew up in Estella and graduated from Loyalsock Joint High School with the class of 1961. On June 30, 1961 she married the love of her life, Duane Reibson. They shared 59 blessed years of marriage and raised 4 children. Betsy was a woman of faith and a member of the Millview Wesleyan Church.
Betty was an avid reader and enjoyed visiting the Dushore Library. Her utmost importance in life was her family, especially spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
Betty is survived by her husband; Duane Reibson, Sons; Andrew (Sunnyeo) Reibson, John (Joyce) Reibson and Michael (Brenda) Reibson, daughter; Christy (Scott) Harriman, grandchildren; Anna Reibson, Matthew Reibson ,Hannnah Reibson, Elizabeth (Shawn) Lawrey, Thaddeus Reibson, Adam (Amy) Reibson, Bethany Reibson, Mason (Michelle) Harriman and Noelle Harriman, great-grandchildren; Rowan,Taysin, Aiden, Natalie and Everly, siblings; Gary (Linda) Fiester, Lyndon "Pete" (Joy) Fiester, Rebecca Aldinger of Estella and Joey (Betty) Fiester as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
Besides her parents Betty was predeceased by her sisters; Nancy and Roberta Fiester.
In maintaining with Betty's wishes there will be no viewing or funeral services. A private graveside service will be held in the Hillsgrove United Methodist Church Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility Inc, 578 Springbrook Drive, Canton, PA 17724 is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Mrs. Reibson's memory to the Millview Wesleyan Church or smiletrain.org.Please share memories and condolences at www.pepperfuneralhomes.com.
