Betty J. Neff, 84, of Canton. PA, formerly of Allentown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at her residence while surrounded by her family and loved ones. Betty was born on February 17, 1942, a daughter of the late Russell and Emma (Zimmerman) Schmoyer. She was a graduate of Allentown High School. On August 20, 1960, Betty married Norwood Neff in the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Slatington, PA. Together the couple shared 39 years of marriage prior to his passing in 1999. Betty was employed by PCA Packaging Corporation of America in Trexlortown, PA for many years until her retirement.

Betty will be remembered for the immense love she had for her family, especially her cherished grandchildren. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, including playing bingo and visiting the casino, where she created many happy memories.

Besides her beloved husband, Norwood P. Neff, Betty was predeceased by her son; Michael T. Neff. Betty was also one of ten siblings, a testament to a large and loving family.

She leaves behind her daughter-in-law, Nancy Neff of Canton, PA; her grandson, Jacob (Mareaha) Neff of Bloomsburg, PA; her granddaughter, Mindy (Joseph) Carew of Covington, PA; and her great-grandchildren, Hunter, Gavin, and Hanna who will continue to carry her love and memory forward.

Betty’s warmth, kindness, and devotion to her family will never be forgotten.
