Obituary

Bradley R. Pepper, 76, of Granville Summit, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at the Robert Packer Hospital with his loving family by his side. Bradley Roy was born April 20, 1948, at the Ross Maternity Home in Canton, a son of the late Lynn and Martha (Morse) Pepper. At the age of 10, he was baptized by Pastor Paul Dale at Alba Creek and lived his life as a free spirit. Brad, as known by most, was raised in Leroy and attended Canton area schools. He was a graduate of the class of 1966, where he was an exceptional wrestler. Brad married his high school sweetheart, the former Faye Tillotson. Together they shared 59 years of loving marriage and raised three children. Always a hard worker, Brad was self-employed as a farmer, logger and a carpenter. He often helped at Pepper's Auctions where if there was a frying pan held up it was always requested, he recite the verse "Leftover biscuits, leftover ham, leftover gravy, in the ole frying pan. Leftover coffee, leftover tea, now I'm all alone cuz she leftover me" which was always followed by much laughter and applause.

Brad was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was a baker, a talented poet and enjoyed dancing. He loved to follow his favorite teams and athletes. The Colts, N.Y. Yankees, Johnny Unitas, Mickey Mantle and Muhammed Ali.  Brads utmost joy came from spending time with his kids, grandkids and great grandkids, his horses and dog Shine. He was lovingly known to all 17 grandkids and great grandkids as "Pop Pop" who each were given nicknames by him.
