Carol A. Donahay, 75, of Canton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 22, 2025, while surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 17, 1950, in Toms River, New Jersey, Carol was the beloved daughter of Daniel and June (Pettit) Sennert. She attended high school in Toms River and dedicated many years as a Unit Clerk at Troy Community Hospital before retiring.

Carol had a passion for crocheting and sewing, finding joy in crafting heartfelt pieces. She cherished time spent with her family, whether traveling with friends or creating special memories with her grandchildren. Known for her generosity and kind spirit, she was always ready to lend a helping hand.

She leaves behind her children: Robert Donahay of Alba, Stephen (Kelly) Donahay of Vancouver, WA, Susan (Mark) Hall of Troy, Tommie (Jim) Moyer of Canton, Amie (Dean) Pequignot of Covington, and Betsy Lewis (Brian Langer) of Williamsport; her sister, June Seluchins; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her dear friend, John Muntz, as well as her nieces, nephew, and extended family.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Robert Sennert, brother-in-law Andrew Seluchins, and nephew Richard (Lisa) Seluchins.

A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 AM on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton. A celebration of her life will follow.
