Carol Ann Krotzer's Obituary

Carol Ann "Daisy" Krotzer left our world on February 1, 2016 to join her mama and daddy in the kingdom of Heaven.Carol loved her Lord and knew of God's grace and was secure in her salvation.
She was born in Canton, PA on August 2, 1945 to Margaret (Allen) Houser and Robert Krotzer.Carol was strong-willed, loving and opinionated. She may not have gained fame and fortune in this life, but she was always willing to lend a hand and her heart to those she knew and some she didn't.Carol was a jack-of-all-trades from cashier, waitress, bartender, hair dresser to child care provider. She passed down many of these "survivor" skills to her nine children.Yes 9! most of whom she raised single-handedly.With 27 years between them, they are Cynthia (Rhodes) Compton, Sandra Rhodes, Kristina Rhodes, Billie (Rhodes) Matthews, Shaunna Albright, Allen Krotzer Jr., Shallena (Krotzer) Santana, Michael Krotzer, Cody Krotzer and "honorary" daughter Bonnie Rhodes, all of whom loved and will miss their mama tremendously.Children-in-law;Thad Compton, Brock Matthews, Timothy Butcher, Christopher Albright, Francisco Santana, Keith Fraser and Donny Lee.17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.Also four siblings; Cheryl Mealor, Beverly Dillon, Barbara Dill and Allen Krotzer who were always on her heart and in her mind.Although she was not able to spend as much time with them as she had liked, she thought about them often with a smile.
Carol valued her family and made sure they knew it.She was an accepting and understanding soul who would help you come up with an excuse for anything, especially calling in sick to work. She may have been 70 years old, but she had the sense of humor and outlook on life of a 30-year old.She could relate to anyone anytime.

Family invites friends to call 6 – 8 p.m. Friday at Pepper Funeral Home, 578 Springbrook Dr. in Canton. Her son-in-law, Thad Compton, will officiate the funeral services at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6.Burial will follow in East Canton Cemetery. Those who wish may consider a memorial to Geisinger's Janet Weis Children's Hospital, 100 N. Academy Ave. Danville, PA 17822.
