Carol Leonard, 72, of Columbia Cross Roads, PA passed away peacefully on February 3, 2017, at Guthrie Troy Community Hospital.
Born June 7, 1944 in Elmira, NY, Carol Joanne Tyler Leonard was a daughter of Ardena (Seymour) Tyler and the late Herbert Tyler.She was a 1961 graduate of Troy High School and received an associate's degree in Elmira.Carol's love for family and home was most important in her life.She cherished her grandchildren and was blessed with a close extended family.Carol worked as a waitress for many years.She was always concerned about people and tried to give them a better day.Carol especially enjoyed visiting with friends, scratch-off tickets and playing bingo.
In addition to her mother, Ardena Tyler of Columbia Cross Roads, surviving are four children; Dianne Mountjoy of Ohio, Deborah DiMauro, Jeffery Leonard and Brian Leonard all of New York, nine grandchildren, five siblings; Lorraine (Del) Resmer, Dale (Kate) Tyler, Wayne (Vickie) Tyler, Paul Tyler and Floyd (Arlene) Tyler, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
She was predeceased by her father and a brother, David Tyler.
As per Carol's wishes, there are no public services at this time.A private family celebration of her life will be held at a later date.In lieu of Flowers, consider a memorial to a charity of one's choice.
