Celia Levindofski, 97, of Morris Run, PA passed away March 5, 2018 at the Athens Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.

Born May 6, 1920 in Morris Run, Celia Frances was the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Romel) Levindofski.She was employed by JP Ward Foundry in Blossburg for over 30 years.Committed to her faith, Celia was a member of the former St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Morris Run and a member of the Holy Child Parish.She possessed a strong work ethic and loved her family and church throughout life. Celia enjoyed volunteering for the Meals on Wheels Program and was recognized by State Representative Matt Baker.Her hobbies included crocheting, word puzzles and playing scratch off tickets.

Surviving is her niece and caregiver, Sharon Mokrzynski-Kendrick (Sam Wilcox)of Athens, nieces and nephews; Teresa (Ed) Stevens of Bainbridge, GA, Maria (Michael) Cup of Rochester, NY, Roseann (James) Della Gloria and Philip (Beth) Jerzak all of Hilton, NY, Ron (Bridget) Jerzak of Webster, NY, Ed (Sandy) Stauffer of Pittsburgh, George (Audrey) Aumick of Blossburg, Walter Aumick of PA and a cousin, Chet Dzikowski of Morris Run

She was predeceased by five siblings; Rita Mokrzynski, Martha Aumick, Lucy Stauffer, Genevieve Jerzak and Val Levindofski, also her significant other, Clayton Butler.

Visitation is from 4 – 6 p.m. Thurs. March 8, at Pepper Funeral Home & Cremation Facility (formerly Zwicharowski's) at 314 Granger St., Blossburg.Rev. Bryan B. Wright will officiate A Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Blossburg.Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Memorials in Celia's name may be made to Holy Child Parish, 237 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA 16933.
