Cherie Sutton, 47, of Wysox, PA passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was a patient of the Sayre Health Care Facility in Sayre.Cherie Denise was born in Towanda on January 19, 1971, the youngest daughter of Barbara J. Hufford of Canton and Rexford B. Eastabrook of Milan. Cherie graduated from Towanda High School and Mansfield University. She was employed as a respiratory therapist at Robert Packer Hospital before her illness made it impossible to continue working. She enjoyed her job very much and loved the people she worked with. In addition to her parents, Cherie is survived by her husband Michael, two sons; Chey and Tanner Sutton, a granddaughter Averie, three sisters; Veronica, Robin and Karen, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a grandson, Chance.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Her family asks that those who wish consider a memorial in Cherie's name to your favorite charity of to Guthrie Hospice, 421 Tomahawk Rd. Towanda, PA 18848. Pepper Funeral Home & Cremation Facility in Canton is assisting the family with arrangements.
