Obituary

Claudette A. (Berube) Lee, 83, of Roaring Branch, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at the Williamsport Home. Claudette was born August 26, 1940, in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada, a daughter of the late Adrien and Joan (Guy) Berube. She attended John Caldwell High School in New Brunswick, and was a graduate of the class of 1958. On August 29, 1959, Claudette married the love of her life, John "Jack" Lee in Grand Falls, New Brunswick. Together they shared 50 years of loving and devoted marriage until Jack's passing in 2009. In her earlier years Claudette sold Avon and later in life was co-owner of Landon Tire in Canton Township for many years with her husband Jack. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Ralston, the Altar Rosary Society and a lifetime member of the Wheel Inn.

Claudette was an avid Hockey and Nascar fan, rooting for the Pittsburg Penguins and Jeff Gordon. Shopping with her friend, the late Donna Holmes, was something she always looked forward too. Traveling with her beloved husband Jack was some of her most treasured times. Most important to Claudette was her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren, that she truly adored.

Surviving Claudette are her children; Renee (Greg) Williams and John (Chris) Lee, both of Roaring Branch, grandchildren; Heather Lee, Ronnie Lee, John (Shawna) Lee, Casey Williams, Drew (Lauren) Hill, Kristen (Cody Rautenberg) Williams, Jessie Williams, Garth (Chelsie) Mahosky , eight great grandchildren; siblings; Marcelle Dube and Francine (Elmer) Mulherin both of Grand Falls, New Brunswick , Andrea (David) Cogswell of Fredericton, New Brunswick and Joseph Berube of Grand Falls, New Brunswick as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents and husband Jack, Claudette was predeceased by a brother in law; George Dube and a special grandmother; Grammy McClure.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from Noon to 1 P.M. at Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton. A celebration of Claudette's life will follow at 1 P.M. Burial will be held in Canada at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Claudette's name may be directed to the Williamsport Home, 1900 Ravine Road, Williamsport, PA 17701.
