Clifford "Cliff" Hannah, 78, of Lincoln Falls, PA died on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Muncy Place in Muncy, PA.



Clifford Lee Hannah was born on May 28, 1942 in Buncome County, NC to the late Virgil and Effie (Smith) Hannah. Cliff is survived by his wife, Donna Morgan, his son, Mitchell Hannah and stepson, Stephen Jones. He is pre-deceased by his son, Martin Hannah and stepdaughter, Jennifer Jones Parker. He is survived by two sisters: Sarah Hannah Warren and Helen Hannah Levi. He is also survived by step grandchildren, Ivy and Jonas Jones, and Whitney and Autumn Parker.



Cliff attended Clyde High School and graduated from Harrison Chillhowie Academy. Cliff was a popular radio personality known throughout Western North Carolina. He presided over many local events and fundraisers and made personal appearances associated with radio station WPTL in Canton, NC. During his radio career, he wrote and edited many human-interest stories for NPR which were broadcast locally. Cliff was an ordained minister of the Baptist faith serving the congregation in North Carolina and Georgia. He loved to sing and possessed a beautiful tenor voice. He sang in church and with a well-known gospel group that traveled throughout the region. He also performed on weekends with a popular Country Western group at various locations.



Cliff was an accomplished woodworker. He was often contracted to carve large scale architectural pieces such as doors, fireplace mantles, etc. He also enjoyed carving smaller decorative pieces of folk art; mainly animals, for which he won many awards. Cliff was a florist and he and his wife, Donna owned The Clyde Flower Shop in Clyde, NC prior to retirement. After retirement, Cliff and Donna moved back to her hometown of Lincoln Falls, PA.



Cliff was an avid storyteller and loved to engage people with a funny story or joke. His lively personality and charming sense of humor will be missed. At Cliff's request, there was no funeral service. The family will gather for a memorial service at a later date.
