IN LOVING MEMORY OF
David P.
Morse
April 26, 1947 – July 19, 2021
David P. Morse, 74, of Leroy Township, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. David Paul was born April 26, 1947 in Canton to the late Delancey Jr and Virginia "Gin" (Palmer)Morse. He attended Canton Area Schools. In his earlier years he was employed by Palmer Industrial Coating in Williamsport. He worked all over Pennsylvania sandblasting and painting bridges. Dave was a member of the Canton Moose Lodge 429 and the Towanda Beagle Club.
Davewas a true country boy who flew by the seat of his pants. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing and inearlier years running his hunting dogs. He could often be found in the fields baling hay or in the forest getting his supply of wood for the winter. Dave always said there was a peacefulness that could be found in the woods. He was a straight forward man, always telling it how it was, even if you didn't want to hear it. Dave enjoyed visiting and oftenmade time to stop and say hello. No matter how far away from home he was he seemed to know someone.
Besides his parents David was predeceased by his good friend; Dale Baxter.
Surviving are his sister; Barbara Sentyz of Towanda, special cousins; Danny and Pete Morse of Pine Valley, Ny., nieces and nephews; Chad (Angel) Butcher of Blossburg, Jennifer Sentyz of Towanda and Josh (Jessica) Sentyz of Granville Smt., great-nephew; Joel Sentyz, great nieces; Makaela and Makensie, special friends; Brian Rockwell of Williamsport and Donny Pepper of Leroy.
