David L. Myers, 79, of Roaring Branch, passed away at his home on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, with his loving family by his side. Born April 11, 1947, in Jersey Shore, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Margaret (Richards) Myers Pratt. On December 22, 1978, David married the former Sharon (McCone) Baxter in Canton, and together they shared 45 years of devoted marriage until her passing in 2023. In his younger years, David worked for Swayze Folding Box before joining Ward Manufacturing, where he remained until retiring in 2014.

David enjoyed tending to his garden, took pride in mowing his yard with careful attention, and valued nothing more than the time he spent with his family.

David leaves behind his children; Melissa Virasith of Millerton, Amanda (Mike) Williams of Blossburg, Angie Kilbourn of Roaring Branch, Carole (Terry) Enterkine of Egg Harbor, NJ and Debbie (Butch) Clegg of Mays Landing, NJ, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters; Rose Ann Shaeffer of Roaring Branch and Mary Jane (Robert) Spencer of Rose Valley, daughter-in-law; Rhonda Myers of Blossburg as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and a very special friend; Darryl Black.

Besides his parents and his second wife Sharon, David was widowed by his first wife; Mary (Kilmer) Myers, and predeceased by a son; David Myers Jr., brother; Dean Myers and stepfather; Glenn Pratt
