Delores "Dee" Parks, 70, widow of John Parks Sr, of Canton, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the Guthrie Troy Community Hospital.

Delores Irene was born September 1, 1952, in Doylestown, a daughter to Harold and Delores (Robison) Lindbald. She attended and graduated from South Hunterdon High School in New Jersey. On September 2, 1970, Delores married John L. Parks. Together they shared 52 years of marriage and raised three children. Dee, as known by most, was employed by the former Canton Manufacturing for over 20 years until her retirement in 2009.

Dee truly enjoyed beings outdoors. She loved hunting, fishing and watching the wildlife. Camping, cookouts and yard sales were some of her favorite past times. Most important to Delores was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Delores is survived by; three children; Tracy (Brad) Slater of Wyalusing, John Parks Jr. (Amanda Stone) of Canton and Pam (Jason) Lloyd of Texas, grandchildren; Brandon, Brittany, John III, Samantha, Brody and Brock, great grandchildren; Bennet and Colson, special friends: Richard Wheeler of Wellsboro and Leann Cole of Canton as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents, Delores was predeceased by her husband; John Parks Sr. on October 27, 2009.

In keeping with Delores's wishes, services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton is assisting the family with final arrangements.
