Dianna L. (Bennett) Brown, 76, of Forksville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at her residence while surrounded by the love of her family. Dianna Lee was born October 16, 1947, in Johnson City, New York, the oldest of eight children of the late Clifford and Helen (Kunzman) Bennett. She attended Sullivan County High School and was a graduate of the class of 1965. On November 20, 1970, Dianna married Harry Brown Sr. in Canton. Together they shared 53 years of loving marriage. She was a member of the Shunk United Methodist Church.
Dianna enjoyed flower gardening, painting, crocheting and taking pictures. Outside watching the birds was one of her favorite things to do. Times spent with her family were always her most enjoyable.
Dianna leaves behind her husband, Harry Brown Sr. at home, children; Harry Brown Jr., Delina Krise, Jennifer Bown and Steve Smeeton, five sisters, two brothers, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her parents, Dianna was predeceased by a daughter: Kim Brown, grandparents; Ema and Basil Bennett and Luella and Lloyd Kunzman and a nephew Bob Purtell.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, from Noon to 1 P.M. at the Shunk United Methodist Church, 9881 Route 154 in Shunk. A funeral service will follow at 1 P.M. with burial after in the Brown Cemetery. Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Dianna's name may be directed to St. Jude's Children Hospital, 387 E. South Street, Wilkes-Barre, Pa 18702.
