Obituary
Doloris Jane Wilston, 91, of Canton, PA passed away peacefully Friday morning, December 22, 2017 at Towanda Memorial Skilled Nursing Unit.
Jane was born December, 24, 1925 in Leolyn, PA, a daughter of the late Paul Sr. and Dorothy (Hindmarsh) Roby.She was always one to stay busy, from age 17 to retiring at age 70, Jane enjoyed several types of work.She drove truck, worked at Weldon's in Williamsport, Belmar Hanger Co. in Canton, the Canton Police Department, a transporter for Canton Ambulance and was a crossing guard for Canton Schools.Jane enjoyed helping sick people and she loved her dogs.She was a member of the Methodist Church in Roaring Branch.She also enjoyed family get-togethers and planting flowers.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Carol (Larry) Jackson of Spartanburg, SC, son-in-law and daughter-in-law; Stephen Innes of Canton and Sharon Thomas of New Mexico, two grandchildren; Casey Innes of Canton and Jennifer (David) Swank of Spartanburg, two great-grandsons; Jackson and Carter, two sisters; Lucille Green of Troy and Donna Greene of Minnesota, a sister-in-law, Harriett Roby of St. Mary's GA, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by two children; Glen Thomas and Deborah Innes, four siblings; John Roby, Paul Roby, Jr. Henrietta Vermilya and Robena Page Moore.
As per Jane's wishes, Rev. Duane Taylor will officiate private family services at Pepper Funeral Home, 578 Springbrook Dr., Canton.Burial will follow in East Canton Cemetery.
