E. Lorraine (Morgan) Sklarkowski, 70, of Athens, formerly of Canton, PA passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024, at her residence. Esther Lorraine Morgan was born August 3, 1954, in Troy; she was a daughter of the late Charles and Virginia (Haxton) Morgan.

Lorraine, affectionally known by most, worked as a Certified Nurse's Assistant for several years.  She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and crocheting.  Lorraine was a kind and generous individual. Her main interest in life was her home and family, especially her grandchildren.  In earlier years, she was a member of the Frist Baptist Church in Canton.
Surviving are her children, Dave (Roxanne) Mays of Athens, John (Brandy) Mays of Canton, grandchildren, Arianna, Sam, Gracie, Max, David, Jacob (Brittney) Mays and Tricia Frost, great grandchildren, Lilly, Weston, Brayden, Matty, Kenzie and Avery, siblings, Louise Mundrick and Betty (Don) Bohlayer all of Sayre, a special niece and caregiver, Cara Anderson of Waverly, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents, Lorraine was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Sklarkowski, a sister, Sally Johnson and brother-in-law, Fred Mundrick.

Visitation will be held from 4 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton. A funeral service to celebrate her life will follow at 5:30 P.M. with Pastor Sean Tymeson officiating. Burial will be held in the Grover Cemetery.
