Edgar "Ed" M. Sheaffer, 79, of Ward Township, Tioga County, PA passed away early Friday morning on July 3, 2020 at his home while surrounded by family.

Edgar Maurice was born in New Holland, PA on August 13, 1940 to the late Maurice and Ruth (Weaver) Sheaffer. He graduated from New Holland's Garden Spot High School in 1959. On December 31, 1960 he married his true love in Paradise, PA, the former Beulah Diane Keneagy.

He later received training in wildfire behavior, Fire Warden State training and was appointed Fire Warden by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Most recently, Edgarserved as a Ward Township Supervisor for many years.

Ed loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Beulah, his son; Craig (and Kimberly) Sheaffer of Mt. Joy, granddaughters; Samantha Sheaffer of Morris and Andrea (and Glenn Jr.) McQueen of Pequea, great grandchildren; Jocelyn and Kroy McQueen, brother; Arden (and Nancy) Sheaffer of Homosassa FL; and a nephew; Danny (and Laurie) Sheaffer of St. Cloud, FL.

Maintaining to Edgar's wishes, all services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in Mr Sheaffer's memory to the Guthrie Hospice, 421 Tomahawk Rd, Towanda, PA 18848.
