Edith J. Wilson, 79, of Shunk, Fox Township, PA, passed away at her residence on Sunday, January 15, 2023, while surrounded by family. Edith Josephine was born March 20, 1943, in Marion, Virginia, one of seven children to the late Leonard and Nannie Mae (Hash) Blevins. On May 11, 1965, Edith married Robert Wilson Jr in Chester County, PA. Together they shared 50 years of loving marriage and raised two children before Bob's passing on October 6, 2015.

Edith enjoyed the simple things in life, usually being a cigarette and ice-cold Pepsi. Most important, was the love she shared in her home and for family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving Edith is her daughter and son in law; Martha (Wesley) Moore of Shunk, a sister; Geneva Barlow of Toughkenamon, Pa., and a brother; Robert Blevins of Marion, Va., 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents and husband, Edith was predeceased by a son; Robert Wilson III and her siblings; Virginia Blevins, Katherine Adkins, Mary Perez, Dorothy Barlow and James Blevins.

In keeping with Edith's wishes, services and burial will be private. Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive, Canton is assisting with arrangements.
