Obituary

Eilene A. (Boyles) Tedesco 79 of Sylvania passed away on Sunday, November 3rd, 2024, at Athens Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Eilene was born on September 30th, 1945, to the late Curtis and Betty (Rogers) Boyles.  She attended Troy Area Schools and was a class of 1964 graduate. Eilene went on to attend Eastern Christian College in Maryland for a short period of time.

She was employed as a nurse's Aide at the Bradford County Manor and enjoyed working the election board in both Sylvania, PA as well as Columbia Crossroads PA.

Eilene was also a beloved member of the Grover Church of Christ.

Eilene enjoyed reading and knitting and was rather crafty and enjoyed creating things   especially for others. She had a great love of flowers, predominantly her rose bushes. Her life encompasses her family, especially her grandchildren who she loved dearly.

Eilene leaves behind her loving husband Emile "Sonny" Tedesco, her children Christa Haflett (William Card) of Horseheads NY, Kimberly (Steve) Seelye of Hewitt TX, her stepchildren Steve Tedesco, Dominic (Tanya) Tedesco, Jeff Tedesco and Chris Tedesco. Her Grandchildren Deanna Haflett, Dillon Haflett, Devin Haflett, Gordy Austin (Lauren Nero) Alexis Tedesco, Dominic Tedesco Jr, Zachary Tedesco, Josh Tedesco, Jeff Tedesco Jr, Samantha Tedesco, Tanisha Ostrander, and Kyle Pruyne.

Her siblings Richard (Connie) Boyles, William (Eva) Boyles, her sister-in-law Emelia Tomko, her niece Dawn Rogers and many other nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition, she leaves her beloved kitty Tallulah (Pisser) - whose job is to keep Sonny busy!

Eilene was predeceased by her loving Grandson Curtis Austin, her brother Sonny Boyles and her parents Curtis and Betty (Rogers) Boyles.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 28, 2024, from 1 to 2 P.M. at Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton. A celebration of Eilene's life will follow at 2 P.M. with pastor Will Strunk officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Eilene A. Tedesco's name may be directed to the Allen F.
