Floyd R. Klein, 95, of Troy PA, (Armenia Twp.) and formerly of Nazareth, PA passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Guthrie Troy Community Hospital.

Born July 19, 1923, in Minneapolis, MN, Floyd Richard Klein was a son of the late John and Ida (Powell) Klein. He was a lifelong patriot and a veteran of WWII; proud of his service in the U.S. Navy. On Jan. 22, 1960, Floyd married the former Dorothy Marie Hanzl in the Kreidersville Church. Floyd enjoyed his career asan electrician, specializing in motor repair. He was of the Christian faith and knew the Lord in his heart. The Kleins lived in the Lehigh Valley until 1993 when they relocated to Bradford County. He appreciated times spent outdoors enjoying nature, especially hunting, fishing and feeding and watching the wildlife. He was a member of Troy's American Legion Post 49. Floyd will be remembered by all who knew him as a fair-minded and honest man.

Surviving are his five children, Anita (Ronald) DeBona of Estero, FL, Ronald (Sylvia) Klein of Easton, Diane (Wynn) Umstead of Nazareth, Lee Klein of Troy (Crystal Putnam) and David (Rachael) Klein of Canton; eight grandchildren, Gina, Matt, Zach, Shane, Ashley, Naydia, Aiden and Dorothy; great grandchildren, Anthony, Alexis and Grayson; a brother, Robert Klein of Troy, several nieces, nephewsand cousins.

In addition to Dorothy, his beloved wife of 50 years, he was predeceased by several siblings. Also, his canine companions, Roxy and Kurt.

Calling hours are 1 – 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, at Pepper Funeral Home & Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Dr. Canton. Rev. Tom Blackall will officiate the funeral service at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the Klein Family Cemetery, Armenia Twp.
