Gary G. Rossell, 80, of Blossburg, passed away at his residence on Monday, July 12, 2021 while surrounded by his loving family. Gary Glenn was born in Canonsburg, PA on December 22, 1940 to the late William and Ruth (Cramer) Rossell. He attended Chartiers Houston High School and graduated with the class of 1958. Following high school, he was accepted to Waynesburg College where he graduated in 1963 with a Bachelor Degree in Science.On October 26, 1968 Gary married the former Ruth Ann Woodside in Lancaster, Ohio. Together they shared 52 years of dedicated marriage and raised three children. Gary was employed for many years by IronMountain's Records Management Department until his retirement in 2013.
Gary enjoyed telling stories to his grandchildren, refinishing old items, gardening and was talented at reloading bullets. He was an exceptional man, not only wise beyond his years but also a kind and caring person that loved his family endlessly.
Surviving Gary are his wife; Ruth, sister; Gaylynne Trumm, daughter; Jodi (Shanti) Rossell, sons; Brandon (Jen) Rossell Sr., and Scott (Tiffany) Rossell, grandchildren; Matthew (Allison) Doyle, Amethyst Rose, Becca (Jordan) Adams, Mikayla, Brandon Jr., Emily, Christopher and Justin Rossell, Kurtis, Jakob and Blake Porter, a great grandson Hudson Adams, and many dear friends.
The family will receive friends from 3-5 P.M. on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Pepper Funeral Home, 314 Granger Street, Blossburg, PA 16912. A memorial service will follow at 5 P.M. at the funeral home.
