Genevieve "Jeannie" (Thompson) Fulmer,

Genevieve "Jeannie" Fulmer, 76, of Roaring Branch, PA passed away peacefully, following a brief illness on Saturday morning, October 29, 2022, at the UPMC Williamsport Hospital. Genevieve was born August 29, 1946 in Canton, one of two daughters born to the late Howard and Lucy (Smith) Thompson. She attended Canton Area Schools and was a graduate of the class of 1964. Following high school, she went on to further her education at the Williamsport Area Community College (WACC), and subsequently would earn a degree in nursing. On December 28, 1963 Genevieve married Harold Fulmer in Roaring Branch. Together they shared 58 years of devoted marriage and raised two children. In her earlier years, she was employed at the Midway truck stop and then by Susquehanna Health in Williamsport as a Registered Nurse for over 37 years until her retirement.

Jeannie, as known by most, was an avid bowler and belong to the Women's bowling league. Most important to Jeannie was family outings and the times spent with her family and friends.

Surviving is her husband, Harold of Roaring Branch, her children; Tandra Laudenslager of Trout Run and Harold "Buddy" Fulmer Jr. of Lancaster, grandchildren; Chase and Brendan Dapp and Dakota Fulmer and Taylor Lineweaver, sisters in law and spouses, Josephine (Jim) Treat, Beverly Mead, Bonnie Terry, Mary (Ray) Bedford Lucy (Lynn) Bigelow, many nieces' nephews and cousins, as well as her feline companion, Blacky the cat.

Besides her parents, Jeannie was predeceased by a sister and brother-in-law; Charlotte (Dale) Fulkerson, sisters in law and brothers in law, Helen O'Conners, Dorothy (William) Snyder, Robert (Catherine) Fulmer, Chuck Mead and beloved dog, Sebastian.

Friends may call 11a.m. to 1p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Pepper Funeral Home, Canton. There will be no services and a private burial will follow in the Roaring Branch Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in Mrs. Fulmer's name to a charity of one's choice.
