Guy T. Harnish, 74, of Troy, formerly of Lebanon County, PA, passed away at his residence early Thursday morning, September 12, 2024 with his family by his side. Guy Thomas was born in Myerstown, PA on January 24, 1950, a son of the late Walter and Ruth (Lesher) Harnish. He attended Hershey High School and was a graduate of the class of 1967. On May 10, 1969, Guy married his high school sweetheart, the former Carol Lehman. Together they raised three children and shared 54 years of loving marriage until her death on December 24, 2023.  Guy was employed for several years for Shaffer and Son in Hershey, before becoming a full-time farmer.  He worked in the farming industry starting in 1980 up until the time of his passing.

Guy leaves behind sons; Jon Harnish of Troy and Eric Harnish of Ulster, a daughter; Amy Harnish of Annville, grandchildren; Elizabeth, Jenna, Tyson, Garrett and Lexi, sisters; Mary Lutz of Myerstown, Nancy Keyser of Winston Salem, NC, and Marie Lutz of Robesonia, PA, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents and wife Carol, Guy was predeceased by a brother; James Harnish and a sister; Shirley Miller.

In keeping with Guy's wishes, services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Guy's name may be directed to Guthrie Hospice, 421 Tomahawk Road, Towanda, PA 18848.
