H elen Parker, 59, of Canton, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend to many, passed away, February 19, 2024, at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre.

Helen was born on December 20, 1964, in Wellsboro, she was a daughter of the late Clifford and Connie (McKay) Johns. In earlier years, Helen attended Troy Area Schools and later earned her GED.

A very outgoing individual, to know Helen was to love her. She was employed by various businesses in the area including, Mansfield University's Culinary Arts Department, PMF Industries in Covington, Metal Craft, Grandma's Kitchen Restaurant both in Mansfield, eBay Sales and most recently Alf's Beverage in Canton.  Helen also worked side by side with her husband's catering business for several years, going to different venues throughout the area.

She enjoyed life and lived it to its fullest. Helen's hobbies included, bonfires, dirt track racing, times spent at Canton Lake, gatherings and most of all visiting with family and her numerous friends.  Helen was talented at baking and decorating cakes, especially wedding cakes.

She was a member of the Women of the Moose Canton Lodge, Canton American Legion, Canton VFW, Red Run Rod and Gun Club in Ralston.

She is survived by her husband, Tim Parker, a daughter, Emagene (Mark) VanHorn, grandson, Jeffery, stepdaughter, Kayla Parker, two brothers Earnest and Donald Johns, nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family invites friends to call from noon to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at the Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation facility, 578 Springbrook Dr. in Canton. A memorial service and celebration of Helen's life will follow at 1 p.m. with pastor Josh Kelley officiating.

Burial will be held in the Beech Flats Cemetery located in Canton Township.
