Janet Diane (Spencer) Warren, 72, of Blossburg, PA, went to be with the Lord on October 6, 2019, following an extended illness.

Janet was born in Canton on October 31st, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Philip and Ermel (Williams) Spencer.

She graduated from Troy High School in 1964 and later earned a B.S. degree in Elementary Education at Mansfield State College in 1968. Mrs. Warren taught 3rd grade in the North Penn School District for many years and later in her life, worked several years at Walmart in Mansfield.

In addition to her great love for her family and friends, she enjoyed music, singing in the church choir and singing at many weddings throughout the area. The proudest moment of her musical career was when she performed at Carnegie Hall after winning a musical competition. Janet was a very talented seamstress. She enjoyed golfing, traveling and shopping.

Survived by her husband of nearly 48 years, James Warren of Blossburg, brothers, Marvin (Sherry) Spencer of Alba, Tim (Rhonda) Spencer of Madison, CT and her sister, Kelly (Chris) Nickle of Carlisle, PA, nieces, Lily and Mia Spencer of Madison, CT, Kirsten Garwood of Camp Hill, PA, nephews, Kevin (Michele) Spencer of Hummelstown, PA, Keith (Heidi) Spencer of State College, PA, Tristan (Dream) Garwood of Camp Hill, PA, Devin Garwood of Carlisle, PA , Izel, Izaac and Niko Nickle of Carlisle, PA as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Friends may call 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Pepper Funeral Home & Cremation Facility 314 Granger St. Blossburg, Pa. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Blossburg. Burial will follow in St. Andrew's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Janet's memory may be directed to Blossburg Library, 307 Main St, Blossburg, PA 16912 or the Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St. Williamsport, Pa 17701.
