Obituary

Jason A. Ebert, 30, of Williamsport, formerly of Wellsboro, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 8, 2023. Jason Andrew was born on June 26, 1992 in Wellsboro to Brenda (Dewalt) Ebert and the late Michael Barnes. He attended Wellsboro area schools and was a graduate of the class of 2010. On October 12, 2019 Jason married his soulmate, Emy Hill, in Mcelhatten, Pa. Jason was employed at several locations including; Tioga County Pennsylvania's maintenance department, Bailey's Auto and Towing in Allenwood and most recently for Penn Dot in Lycoming County on their road maintenance crew.

Jason was a hard-working and highly motivated individual that possessed the ability to overcome difficult tasks. He was a jack of all trades and could often be found working or tinkering on cars and motorcycles.  Jason enjoyed going on motorcycle rides and driving his Pontiac Fiero. He had a passion for saving anything mechanical from scrap yards and could fix and resurrect back into operation. A true outdoorsman, Jason was an avid hunter, snowboarder and valued all that nature had to offer. Jason cherished his animal friends, especially dogs and horses. He often looked forward to spending time with friends and family, especially his beloved daughter Freya. He was the best husband, father and friend anyone could have, always giving unselfishly of himself to anyone in need.

Surviving Jason is his wife Emy (Hill) Ebert, daughter; Freya Ebert both of Williamsport, mother; Brenda Ebert of Wellsboro, brothers; Todd Ebert of Wellsboro and Joshua Ebert of Pittsboro, NC., sisters; Cheryl Dugan of Virginia Beach and Clarissa Hoyt as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and very dear friends.
