J eremey T. Earle, 33, of Troy, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Jeremy Thomas was born December 7, 1989 in Towanda, a son to Brian and Juanita Earle and Dessa (Thomas) and Joseph Staboleski. He attended Troy area schools and was a graduate of the class of 2008. After high school Jeremy went on to the Fire Science Academy in Montour Falls, NY where he earned his Fire Science Degree. He also earned several certifications in Fire Fighter 1, 2 and 3 as well as arson investigation. Jeremy was most recently employed at Robert Packer Hospital's call center. Earlier, he was employed as a paramedic for several local agencies including Western Alliance, Greater Valley and Danville Geisinger.
Jeremy loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, bonfires and taking his boys fishing. Bowling was another favorite past time. He was a very intelligent individual. Jeremy could glance at a book once and pass an exam with no trouble. In high school he was an excellent percussionist. Jeremy enjoyed teaching others to play the drums and was going to teach his boys. Spending time with his family, especially his sons, was always his utmost importance.
Besides his parents; Dessa (Joseph III) Staboleski and Brian (Juanita) Earle, Jeremy is survived by his sons; Parker and Caiden Earle, sister; Elizabeth Earle (Dennis Weaver), step-siblings, Jeanie Lehman of Canton, Julia Colton of Towanda, April Keegan of Rochester, NY and Nicholas Fennell of Canton, nephew, Eathon Weaver, grandmothers; Audrey Thomas and Phyllis Earle, aunts and uncles; Dom (Monika) Thomas of Ariton, Alabama, David (Linda) Thomas of Sayre, Denise (Paul) Toth of Berlin, PA, Deanna (Randy) May of Canton and Randy (Lisa) Earle of Alba, honorary aunt; Marjorie Spencer, special aunts; Terrie Darrow and Debbie Watkins, very special friends; Lauren Ball, Tami Spencer and John Pillsbury, as well as several cousins.
Jeremy was predeceased by his grandfathers; Charles R. Thomas and Walter E. Earle and an uncle; Daryl Thomas.
In keeping with Jeremy's wishes there will be no services. Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Jeremy's name may be directed to a charity of one's choice.
