Obituary

Jordan James Alexander Marks, 22, of Roaring Branch, passed away unexpectedly on July 4, 2026, following a tragic motor vehicle accident. Born January 29, 2004, in Waterbury, Connecticut, he was the son of Tennor and Cheyenne (Marks) McLaughlin. Jordan attended East Liverpool High School in Ohio and graduated with the Class of 2022. He worked for Gower and Sons Construction and was a proud member of the Red Run Rod and Gun Club, the Marine Corps, and the Morris Run American Legion.

Jordan enjoyed playing pool and competed in a league. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and spending time at Rock Run. He carried a kind, sweet‑hearted nature and embraced life with genuine joy.

Jordan leaves behind his parents, Tennor and Cheyenne McLaughlin of East Liverpool, Ohio; his grandmother, Starr McLaughlin of Ralston; his siblings Xavier Marks, Spyke, Ashlyn, and James McLaughlin, all of East Liverpool, Ohio, and Paul Chapdelain of Connecticut; his special cousin, Ryan Twist of Troy; and his extended Gower family, whom he cherished deeply and worked for. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jordan was predeceased by his grandpa; Dennis McLaughlin and a great grandmother; Margaret Bastion.
