Josephine "Jo" M. (Fulmer) Treat, 94, of Roaring Branch, PA, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at UPMC Williamsport. Josephine Marie was born April 2, 1930, in Muncy Valley, one of nine children to the late Charles and Beatrice (Sones) Fulmer. She attended Canton Area Schools and was a graduate of the class of 1948. On November 23, 1973, Jo married James Treat at her home in Roaring Branch. Together they shared 50 years of marriage. Jo was employed at the Midway Truck Stop in her younger years and Wundies Undies in Liberty for over 25 years until her retirement in 1992. Jo was a member of the former Roaring Branch United Methodist Church.

You could often find Jo outdoors pulling weeds and taking care of her yard. She loved her flowers gardens, especially roses.

Jo leaves behind her husband Jim at home, children; Carol Roupp of Roaring Branch, Nancy (Jerry) Way of Liberty, grandchildren; Crystal Pequignot, Tim Roupp, Corey Way, and Cherilyn Williams, great grandchildren; Misty and Dylan Pequignot, several siblings and their spouses, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A private family only viewing will be held from Noon to 1 P.M. on Friday, August 23, 2024. A private family service will follow at Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Union Cemetery in Liberty.
