Joshua "Josh" McWilliams, 38, of Canton Township, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at his home. Joshua David McWilliams was born December 20, 1985, in Williamsport, PA, one of two sons born to the late David M. and Sandra (Seelye) McWilliams.

He attended Canton Area Schools and graduated with the class of 2004.  Josh then furthered his education for a time at Shippensburg University where his was active in their intermural boxing program.

He was an avid outdoorsman. Josh enjoyed hunting, trapping and all of God's beautiful nature. He was a sports enthusiast and loved NFL's Atlanta Falcons, as well as NBA's LA Lakers, especially the late Kobe Bryant.

Josh will be lovingly remembered by his family, brothers, Derek (Katie) McWilliams of Culpeper, VA, Virgil Collins and family of Naples, FL, an uncle, Scott (Cherie) Seelye of Shavertown, PA, his beloved dog, Tahtiana, and numerous extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Dave and Sandy McWilliams.

A visitation and celebration of Josh's life will be held Friday, August 16, 2024, from 5 to 6:30 PM at Pepper Funeral Home & Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Dr. in Canton. There will be no funeral service and burial will be private. Memorial donations in Joshua D. McWilliams loving memory may be directed to a charity of one's choice.
