Joshua "Josh" Ellenberger, 39, of Canton, passed away very unexpectedly at his residence on Wednesday June 5, 2024. Joshua Lee was born November 7, 1984, in Sayre, PA, one of three children to the late Lanny and Debriah (Bowling) Ellenberger. He attended Canton area schools and was a graduate of the class of 2004. Josh was a member of the Grace Community Church in Troy.
Josh was a very caring individual. He loved his lord and enjoyed reading the Bible and attending church. Josh liked to watch football and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. He cherished the time he spent with his daughter, Aurianna. Josh adored Auri, she was his whole world.
Josh leaves behind his daughter; Aurianna Ellenberger, a sister; Monica Ellenberger of Canton, a special niece; Aurora Ellenberger, aunts and uncles; Linda Bowling of Canton, Orville (Betty) Bowling of Dahlonega, GA, Jewell Bowling, Billy Jo (Sharon) Bowling all of Windfield TN, Kathy (John) Meadows of Rogersville and Margaret Maxey of Pine Knot, KY, special cousins; Jamar and Dixie Aiken, as well as several cousins and friends.
Besides his parents Josh was predeceased by his twin brother; Ryan Ellenberger, grandparents; Merle (Aldine) Ellenberger and Roscoe Sr. (Edith) Bowling, aunt; Attie Campbell, uncles; Sam Campbell, Don Bowling and Roscoe Bowling Jr.
In keeping with Josh's wishes there will be no services. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family in Grover Cemetery, Canton, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations in Josh's loving memory be directed toward assisting with final expenses C/O Pepper Funeral Home, P.O. Box 173, Canton, PA 17724.
