Judy Slingerland, 61, of Troy, passed away on Friday afternoon, August 16, 2024, at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre while surrounded by her loving family. Judy was born July 2, 1963, in Troy, a daughter of the late Robert and Barbara (Laudenslager) Slingerland. She was a graduate of Troy area schools and a lifelong resident of Bradford County.

Judy enjoyed creating rock gardens and maintaining her beautiful flowers gardens. She loved watching hummingbirds and had an extensive collection of hummingbird art and figurines. Judy looked forward to family camping trips and cooking meals over an open fire. Trips to Arizona and South Carolina to visit with her daughters and grandchildren were some of her most enjoyable times.

Judy leaves behind her husband; Jeff Streby, children; Mandy Manley (Sierra Moyer) of Canton, Tammy (Jorge) Ramos of San Tan Valley, AZ, Eric Simcoe of TN, Jackie (Brett) Eichenberger of Myrtle Beach, SC and Cassie Slingerland (Scott Payne) of Troy, grandchildren; Alyssa, Dylan, Davin, Drew and Logan all of Canton, Camden and Noah of San Tan Valley, AZ, Bryce of Myrtle Beach, SC and Bentley and Bailey of Troy, brother; Ronny Slingerland (Linda Garrison) of Columbia Cross Roads, sister; Shelva Baldwin (Daniel Rea) of Pittsburgh, aunts and uncles; Joann Zacharias, Raymond (Dee) Slingerland, Rudy (Ellen) Slingerland, Rose (Donnie) Shadduck, Ruth (Greg) Chandler, Nettie Morgan, Esther Smith and Paul (Amanda) Laudenslager as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In keeping with Judy's wishes there will be no services. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton is assisting the family with arrangements.
