Obituary

Kenneth E. Fernsler III, 60, of Ralston, passed away at his home on Friday, August 29, 2025.

Born on June 30, 1965, in Williamsport, Kenneth Earl was the son of Cheryl (Moyer) Moore and the late Kenneth Fernsler II. He attended Canton area schools and graduated with the Class of 1983. Shortly after, he proudly enlisted in the United States Army.

Ken spent most of his career as an auto body technician and mechanic, a trade that reflected both his skill and his love for classic muscle cars, especially Buick Regals and Skylarks. A true outdoorsman at heart, he found joy in fishing, hiking, and searching for distinctive rocks and driftwood along the Lycoming and Rock Run Streams.

Above all, Ken's greatest pride and joy were his daughters. They were the center of his world and the source of his deepest sense of accomplishment.

Surviving Ken are his daughters; Jesica (Dennis) McLaughlin, Elizabeth (Steve) Motz and Shyla Florez, grandchildren; Dillon and Wyatt Motz, mother; Cheryl (Terry) Moore, sister; Brenda (Dallas) Bastian, brother; Ronald (Teresa) Fernsler, nieces and nephews; Cecil Martin, Morgan Bastian, Madison Parker, Ronnie Fernsler, Leah Fernsler, and his foster niece Alexis Hayes, great nieces and nephews; Ethan, Preston, and Owen Parker and Carter Martin as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ken was predeceased by his father; Kenneth Fernsler II, and his sister and brother-in-law; Gloria (Donald) Martin.

A celebration of Ken's life along with a benefit to help with his final expenses will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Ralston Volunteer Fire Department, 10970 Route 14, Ralston, PA 17763.
