IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kenneth E.
Fernsler, Jr.
October 5, 1944 – August 21, 2023
Kenneth E. Fernsler Jr., 78, of Jersey Shore, formerly of the Ralston area, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023, at Jersey Shore Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Kenneth Earl was born October 5, 1944, in Pottsville, PA; he was a son of the late Kenneth Sr. and Mary Katheryn (Spiess) Fernsler. Kenny was a graduate of the Williamsport High School and was employed at several auto body shops throughout the area. Most recently, he worked at Allegheny Auto Alignment in Williamsport until his health no longer permitted him to work. While working at Allegheny Alignment they sent Kenny to State College, PA because of his superior knowledge of working on vehicles and his attention to detail.
Being a gifted mechanic, Ken always had a love of cars. He collected and restored many unique vehicles and enjoyed working on them. If he wasn't working on vehicles, he could be found tinkering on something in the garage or around the house. He was a kind soul who loved helping people and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. The family would like to thank the caregivers for their loving and caring services they have provided to Kenneth throughout the years.
He leaves behind his children; Kenneth Fernsler III of Bodines, Brenda (Dallas) Bastion of Ralston and Ronald (Teresa) Fernsler of Florida, grandchildren; Jessica (Dennis) Mclaughlin, Elizabeth (Steven) Motz, Shyla Florez, Cecil (Tiffany) Martin, Maddyson (Steven)Parker, Morgan Bastion, Ronald Fernsler Jr. and Leah Fernsler, great grandchildren; Carter Martin, Dillon and Wyatt Motz, Ethan, Preston and Owen Parker, siblings; Linda (William) Warfel of Montgomery, Donna Kimble of Williamsport, Robert Fernsler of Pine Grove and Jeffery Fernsler of Jonestown, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents, Kenneth was predeceased by a daughter; Gloria Martin and a brother-in-law; Craig Kimble.
In keeping with Kenneth's wishes services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Kenneth's name may be directed to the Ralston Fire Hall, 10969 Route 14 Ralston, PA 17763.
