Lee Fassett of Evergreen passed away peacefully on August 7, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and a family who loved him dearly.

Throughout Lees life, he worked for Procter & Gamble and also spent many years as a logger, a way of life that was especially meaningful to him. Logging was something his father, Ernest, did before him, and something his son would later carry on as well. Lee had a genuine love for the outdoors and the life that came with it.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Fassett and Elsie Fassett (Sherman); and his sisters, Jean Fassett and Nancy Fassett.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Patricia Fassett, who shared more than five decades of life, love, memories, and family with him. He is also survived by his children, John Fassett (Christie) of New Albany and Linda Fassett of Clarks Summit; his siblings, Larry Fassett (Jackie) of New Albany, Laura Johnson (William) of Stevensville, and Debra Chappell (Ricky) of Red Lion; as well as his three granddaughters, one grandson, two great-granddaughters, and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Lee was blessed with one grandson, Waylon, who was not only his grandson but his whole world and his best little buddy. The bond they shared was something truly special. Waylon was his shadow, and the two shared a connection that words could never fully describe. The memories they made together will be treasured forever.

Lee will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his years spent working in the woods, and most importantly, the love he had for his family. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will continue to live on through those who knew and loved him.

Though his hands may no longer be working and his chair may now sit empty, his place in the hearts of his family will never be empty. His stories, his laughter, his stubbornness, his love, and all the little moments that made him who he was will live on through the family he leaves behind.

Rest easy, Lee. You lived your life, made your memories, and left pieces of yourself behind in the people who loved you. You will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

In keeping with Lee’s wishes, services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
