Leslie Ray Yoder, 87, Arnot, PA.



On Oct. 13, 2018, Ray Yoder took a heavenly walk with our Lord down a path to no more pain. Ray was born in Liberty on Feb. 28, 1931 to the late Ernest and Ruth (Mase) Yoder. He married the former Joan Watkins on Oct. 11, 1952. Ray worked as a salesman with Arnot Building Supply Company.



He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Liberty, held lifetime memberships at Blossburg's Hillside Rod & Gun Club, Arnot Sportsman's Club and the Sugar Hill Hunting Club. Ray's hobbies included hunting and golfing.



Surviving is his wife of 66 years, Joan, children; Sonja (Bill) Yeager of Wellsboro, Brenda (Herb) Gerow, Rick Yoder and Lonnie Yoder all of Arnot, Lennie (Mandy) Yoder of Liberty and daughter-in-law, Jan Yoder of Arnot, 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, siblings; Arnie (Jane) Yoder and Eleanor Hamilton all of Wellsboro and Beverly (Larry) Mase of Liberty, several nieces, nephews and cousins.



He was predeceased by a son, Leslie Ray Yoder II on July 1, 2007, siblings; Charles (Margaret) Yoder, Mary (Clair) Rogers, Esther (Keith) Raker and bother in law, Jim Hamilton.



There are no public services. Consider a memorial in Ray's name to Salem Lutheran Church, 3536 Navoo Rd. Liberty, PA 16930.
