Mable J. (Hurlburt) Kelley, 91, of Troy, went home to her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Bradford Hills Nursing and Rehab Center in Troy. Mable Josephine was born January 4, 1934, in Leone, PA, a daughter to the late Albert Sr. and Clara (Williams) Hurlburt. She attended Canton Area Schools and was a graduate of the class of 1952. On December 26, 1964, she married Colin Kelley in Canton and together they raised three daughters until his passing in 1990.

Mable loved the Lord and was an active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Canton. She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially healthy foods and was an avid reader.

Mable leaves behind her children; Patricia (David) Voorhees of Granville Summit, Mabel Jo Kaiser of Troy and Loni (Rich) White of Canton, grandchildren; Victoria (Tyler) Johnston of Sayre, Crystal (Mike) Hicks of Florida and David (Dana) Voorhees of N. Carolina, great grandchildren; Emily Herman, Megan Hicks (Corey), Layla Hicks and Evyn Johnston, brother; Steve Hurlburt of Elmira, Clara McIntosh of Canton and Sharon Padgett of Elmira as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents and husband, Mable was predeceased by her siblings; Albert Hurlburt Jr., June Graham and Dorothy Buck.

In keeping with Mable's wishes a private celebration of her life and burial in East Canton Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mable's loving name may be directed to the Canton Seventh Day Adventist Church, C/O, PO Box 123, Canton, PA 17724.
