Obituary

Marcia J. (Hurlburt) Roblyer, 81, of Troy, passed away at her residence on Thursday, October 31, 2024, while surrounded by her loving family. Marcia Jean was born September 10, 1943, in Elmira, NY, a daughter of the late Lewis and Gladys (Garrison) Hurlburt. She attended Troy area schools. On September 23, 1961, Marcia married her soulmate, Ronald Roblyer, in Roseville, PA. Together they shared 63 years of loving and devoted marriage and raised 3 children.  Marcia was employed by the First Bank of Troy in her earlier years as well as by Martha Lloyd in Troy. She was a member of the Covert Church on Armenia Mountain, the Armenia Mountain Snowmobile Club, a lifetime member of the Troy American Legion Auxiliary where she most recently enjoyed being employed.

Marcia enjoyed reading and putting puzzles together. She loved gardening, especially flowers, which she took great pride in.

Marica leaves behind her husband, Ronald, at home, children; Kim (Walter) Smith of Nazareth and Shawn (Judy) Roblyer of Allentown, grandchildren; Walt, Ted, Kacy, Nick, Justin and Beau, great grandchildren; Emma and Liam and another great grandson on the way. Besides her parents, Marcia was predeceased by a daughter, Vonda Wilcox.

A celebration of Marcia's life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Marcia's name may be directed to the Troy American Legion Auxiliary, 1 Veterans Drive, Troy, PA 16947.
