Obituary

Margaret "Marge" Holley, 84, long-time resident of Morris Run, PA, passed away early Tuesday morning, May 16, 2023, at the Green Home in Wellsboro. Margaret Elizabeth Miller was born April 15, 1939, in Canton, one of nine children of the late Albert and Ethel (Stein) Miller. On December 7, 1957, she married Thomas E. Holley. Together they raised six children and shared 58 years of loving marriage until his passing in December 8, 2015. Marge was employed at Ward Manufacturing for nearly 30 years until her retirement in 2003. One who was happiest to stay busy, following retirement she and husband Tom assisted her daughter at the Window Box Flower Shop in Blossburg for several years.

Marge enjoyed gardening, especially while working in her beautiful flower gardens. She loved to travel, camping and was a talented cook. She always looked forward to spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving Marge is her children; Michael (Candice) Holley of Morris, Kathy (Paul) Hemling of Blossburg, Timothy Holley of Antrim, Steven (Carol) Holley of Morris Run, Robin (Todd) Holley and Roxanne (Ernest) Waltz both of Blossburg, grandchildren; Jason Hemling, Heather (Brian) Hemling, Matthew (Whitney) Holley, Cody Holley, Casey Holley, Elizabeth Holley, Melissa Holley, John Holley, Reba Waltz, Kelli Waltz and Alicia (Damion) Davis, great-grandchildren; Isabella Hemling, Emerson Smith, Charlotte Holley, Owen Holley, Levi Holley, Archer Holley, Wendell Day, Ivory Hilfiger, Axle Hilfiger, Michael Goodwin and Thomas Landon, a sister, Rosemary Black of Williamsport as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents and husband Thomas, Marge was predeceased by her brothers; Albert, Joseph, Donald, Charles and George Miller, sisters; Joann Brown and Cathy Moss, and a daughter-in-law; Elizabeth A. Holley.

A Viewing will be held 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Pepper Funeral Home, 578 Springbrook Drive Canton.  Family and friends are welcome to attend a graveside service to honor Mrs. Holley's life at the Arbon Cemetery in Blossburg immediately following the visitation at 3:30 p.m.  In lieu of flowers consider a memorial donation in Marge's name to the American Parkinson Disease Association, P.O.
