Martha A. (Schweikart) Saltsman Dake, 66, of Canton, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.

Born on August 7, 1958, in Williamsport, Martha was the beloved daughter of the late Bert and Joyce (Welch) Schweikart. She was a proud graduate of Williamsport Area High School's Class of 1976. On September 15, 2001, Martha married Bradley Dake. Together they shared 23 years marriage. Over the years, she dedicated 16 years of service to Brodart and was most recently employed by Shop Vac.

Martha spent countless hours and found joy in tending her flower beds. She took pride in keeping her home immaculate, always ensuring everything was neat and spotless. Her happiest memories were made while camping at Sunfish Pond and County Bridge, places she held dear.

Surviving Martha are her husband; Bradley Dake, son; Chad (Shana) Saltsman, grandchildren; Penny and Kylie Saltsman and Brianna and Victoria Ellison, great-grandchildren; Kenai Saltsman and Nala Babcock and a sister; Mary Miller.

Besides her parents, Martha was predeceased by her daughter; Penny Saltsman and a sister; Barbara Deljanovan.

In keeping with Martha's wishes, services and burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton is assisting the family with arrangements.
