Mary Jane Fulkerson, 82, of Roaring Branch, (Liberty Twp., PA) passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 following a brief stay at Williamsport North Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Mary Jane was born July 6, 1940 in Johnson City, NY, the only child of the late Clyde and Matilda (Bennett) Brinser. She was a graduate of Johnson City High School. On June 14, 1969 Mary Jane married her soulmate, Harold A. Fulkerson in the East Point United Methodist Church and together have shared 53 years of marriage.  Mary Jane was employed by Liberty Schools as a cafeteria worker for many years. She was a member of the East Point United Methodist Church.

Mary Jane was an avid and talented photographer, winning many wards at area fairs. She cherished time spent watching her children at horse shows. Mary enjoyed the outdoors, especially her flowers gardens and bird watching. In her earlier years, she liked to do ceramics. Mary Jane always looked forward to vacationing in 1000 Islands in New York.

Surviving is her husband; Harold, son; Michael (Cynthia) Fulkerson of Trout Run, daughter; Wendy (Thomas) Walker of Roaring Branch, grandson; Nathan (Kayla Furman) Fulkerson of Williamsport, Matthew Fulkerson of Trout Run, great grandchild; Melody Fulkerson of Portland, OR as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by an infant son; Daniel.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 10-11 A.M. at the East Point United Methodist Church, 10925 Route 414, Roaring Branch, PA 17765. A funeral service will follow at 11 A.M. with Pastor Tom Harmic officiating. Burial will be held after in the Union Cemetery in Liberty.
